The Community Shop Has Supported Us Throughout the Pandemic – Now Let’s Support Them – Volunteers Required For Immediate Start

Throughout the Pandemic, the Seaview Community Shop (High St, Seaview PO34 5ES – on the corner of West Street) has been a vital supporter of the Community and as a ‘not for profit’ venture is reliant on volunteers to keep running. During the first Lockdown, the Community Shop re-vamped its operation to allow them to provide an essential delivery service to vulnerable members of the community when the supermarkets were unable to provide basic provisions and the community owes them a big ‘Thank You!’

The shop is looking for volunteers to man the shop between the following hours:

8.30am to 12 Noon and 4pm to 6pm, seven days a week.

The shifts can be divided amongst multiple volunteers and training will be provided.

If you think you might be interested, please do not hesitate to contact Debbie or Becky at the shop on (01983) 616487 or via email [email protected].

For anyone keen to get involved, the first introductory sessions will be taking place on Monday 12th July at 2.30pm & 3.15pm.

Please do consider getting involved with this wonderful community asset.
