Nettlestone & Seaview Parish Council is preparing a Neighbourhood Plan which will help
guide future change in the Parish.
It is important that this Neighbourhood Plan reflects your ambitions and views.
We prepared a Parish Plan with your support in 2005 and updated this in 2017. We are looking to update and expand upon this, reflecting changes that have taken place over the last few years, such as climate change, the impacts of Covid and new development pressures.
We’d like to know what your vision for the future of Nettlestone & Seaview is. How should it change over the next 10 to 15 years and what we can do to get there?
A set of potential focus areas have been identified for work on the Plan around which specific policies can be prepared. We’d like to know if these reflect your priorities and whether you have any ideas or suggestions.
It should be noted that the Neighbourhood Plan can be used to positively influence the design and quality of new homes, in addition to encouraging the provision of services and facilities within the Parish. It cannot, however, be used to prevent housing development.
