Following on from the news of the Parish Council’s application to the Local Planning Authority (Isle of Wight Council) to designate the Parish as a Neighbourhood Plan area – the Council is pleased to confirm that the application has been successful and work will now commence on producing a Neighbourhood Plan – it is anticipated to take 24 months to complete.

Designation of a neighbourhood area – Nettlestone and Seaview
Regulation 7(1) of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012
The Isle of Wight Council has designated the following area as a neighbourhood area under Section 61G of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended):
- Nettlestone and Seaview Neighbourhood Area – application by Nettlestone and Seaview Parish Council
