The Parish Council has formally adopted the Age Friendly Island Charter:
Therefore, the council supports the initiatives that are associated with it: such as ‘Pavements for People’ https://www.ageuk.org.uk/isleofwight/our-services/information-and-advice2/pavements-for-people/ – this initiative brought together Age Friendly Island and Island Roads to produce a handy guide for dealing with common access issues for pavements (you can see a copy here – pavements-for-people )
