Join the St Helen’s Churchyard & Eco Garden Volunteers!

Love fresh air, gentle exercise, and the beauty of nature? Come and be part of a friendly new volunteer group based at St Helen’s Church, Nettlestone, working on exciting projects in our historic churchyard and peaceful Eco Garden.

In cooperation with our head groundskeeper, we’re restoring, improving, and caring for these green spaces and we’d love your help! Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just fancy getting outdoors for your wellbeing, there’s a place for you here.

Health benefits? Plenty!

  • Boost your fitness at your own pace
  • Enjoy the calming effects of working in nature
  • Meet like-minded locals and make new friends

Have tools in good condition lying around?
We’d be hugely grateful for any donations of garden tools (especially a wheelbarrow) to help us keep the work going strong.

Weekly Sessions: Wednesdays and/or Thursdays from 10am
Stay for as little or as long as you like – every helping hand makes a difference!
