A Message From CRUSE Bereavement Care (IOW)

Cruse Bereavement Care is a well established national charity. On the Island we have 20 trained bereavement volunteers who can provide confidential, personal support, free of charge.
Once allocated to a Bereavement Volunteer people are offered up to six hour long sessions. During COVID this has been by phone and video-conference. We will be providing support at home as well in the future where this is appropriate.
Everyone deals with grief differently and having a non-judgement, experienced person to listen in confidence can provide great relief and comfort.
Bereavement Volunteers are specifically trained and keep updated throughout the year.
If you, a family member, or a friend have been bereaved and need some support contact Cruse Bereavement Care by phoning 01983 523030 or email [email protected].
There is useful information on the national website www.cruse.org.uk and we have a national helpline 0808 8081677.
